Our Practice
The Team

General Dentist
Sumant 'Dr. A' is the lead dentist and owner of BiteSize Dentistry. As the leader of the organization, his team is a reflection of his vision. From core values, to customer service, to clinical excellence — Dr. A tries to lead by example. Sumant finds no greater joy as a leader than overhearing compliments to the team, and laughter in the operatories. Dr. A loves dentistry because it presents a unique challenge of managing esthetics, engineering, biology, and psychology. When not at BiteSize, Sumant can be found at a local coffee shop crosswording or reading, on the trails preparing for his next marathon, or with his wife watching movies and listening to vinyl.

Patient Care Coordinator
Yaneliz is our Patient Care Coordinator. This position is centered around all things patients — scheduling, benefits & financing coordination, marketing content creation. She wears multiple hats and thrives in it. Having experience in other health care offices and as an esthetician in her own right, Yaneliz is thankful for our ethical approach and our commitment to treat all patients like family. When not helping patients navigate the dental landscape, she can be found pounding the pavement playing pickleball. She also is an accomplished artist — her work speaks for itself.
Core Value — Morality

Lead Dental Assistant
Genny is our Lead Dental Assistant. A lead dental assistant is supposed to be the dentist's 3rd and 4th arms and makes sure all procedures are completed in a timely fashion. Genny accomplishes this by simultaneously being extremely hard working, interested in teeth, and eager to learn anything and everything about how teeth function. Outside of dentistry, Genny loves new experiences — dancing, food, and most recently roller skating. As an aside, her music knowledge is vast and she can be heard humming and singing along during appointments.
Core Value — Autonomy

Hygienist
Dawn is our in-house Hygienist. We take hygiene very seriously here, and Dawn echoes those sentiments. With years of experience, she understands that patients want to leave the dentist feeling sparkly clean. When you join her for a cleaning, you will leave better for it having learned more about how to maintain your oral hygiene. Dawn is fun, energetic, smart, and comprehensive. Outside of dentistry, Dawn is a family-centric person — she can be found caring for her mother and hanging out with her children and their kiddoes.
Core Value — Skill

Dental Assistant
Alissa is our Dental Assistant. Whereas a Lead DA is purely focused on clinical aspects, Alissa's skills range from chairside assistance to front office administration — she does it all. Alissa is the person in the office everybody can rely on to make their job easier: insurance intake, x-rays, sterilization, scheduling, child-chaperoning. She allows the team to operate with a level of trust and dependability. When not around the dental office, Alissa can be found walking dogs (she's for hire!), babysitting, and studying for a future career in dentistry.
Core Value — Faith
Philosophy
When Dr. Agrawal opened BiteSize Dentistry, the goal was simple: build an independent practice that treats the whole patient — not just the tooth in front of us. Dr. Agrawal trained at the Pankey Institute, one of the most rigorous programs in dentistry for comprehensive occlusal care. That training shapes how every exam and treatment plan is built.
You will see the same dentist at every visit. No associates, no rotating providers. We build treatment plans independent of what insurance will cover, then work to maximize your benefits within that plan — not the other way around. And we won't recommend treatment you don't need.
“We build the treatment plan first, then figure out how insurance fits into it — not the other way around.”
Dr. Sumant Agrawal
What We Stand For
01
It's our shining star. One may be the best captain but going the wrong direction — we do what's right first.
02
We value the ability to work independently and take responsibility for our work — we expect much of ourselves and each other.
03
Applying our practice of morality and autonomy toward skill is a recipe for continued improvement.
04
Whether it is religious, spiritual, or in our team and values, faith is required for a group of individuals to operate as a team. It is the bedrock of all our other values.
Vision
We envision a dental practice where care is directed by practitioner expertise and executed for patients — not prescribed by insurance companies. We strive to marry insurance benefits with sound diagnostics rather than treat only what insurance allows.
Mission
We listen to our patients first, provide a clear explanation of diagnostic results, and build treatment plans independent of insurance benefits — then retrofit insurance to maximize coverage. This takes more time, but allows for more comprehensive results.
